Behind The Streets by Eureka Creek is the groups second full length album. It is their most ambitious to date.
This record consists primarily of electronic music, but it also draws upon the groups love of ambient, drone, and techno.

This album is darker in mood compared to previous releases, but it is also somewhat lighter in texture and instrumentation, relying heavily on composition. The group used analogue and digital processes to create each piece throughout the album.
String sections were patched into drum machines. Synthesisers were passed through tape machines, which triggered other outputs, instruments and equipment. Samples were spawned from older audiovisual formats, such as VHS, minidisc, cassettes and gramophone records; they are forever a source of inspiration.
Field recordings from across the south west of England are present, the sound of the flâneur caught on sound devices are juxtaposed together with digital equipment. The use of analogue instruments also gives this latest release a richer tone and greater dynamics.
The creation of cinematic soundscapes from smaller lofi percussion bring new tone and texture to the forefront of the music.
Using vocal outtakes by former bandmates as leading melodies, creating percussion from phone calls, or simply relying on the fine musicianship from each member of the group involved in creating the final album, all lead to this final collection of recordings.
Eureka Creek always try a myriad of ways to record and create music, yet their desire to capture music with purpose and mood never faltered; even when lost in technique, it is the music itself that is the driving force behind it each production.
